Once made, this healthy cheese sauce can be refrigerated for several days and provides numerous opportunities for easy, tasty and nutritious snacks and meals.
Ingredients
2/3 cup raw almonds (soaked overnight then drained and rinsed)
1 cup hot water
2 oz. jar diced pimentos
2 T fresh lemon juice
4 T nutritional yeast
¼ tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. salt
Directions
Place all the ingredients together in a blender and process on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes or until the mixture is very creamy.
